nor do I...as I see it, Thanksgiving is a good time for getting together with family and/or friends to enjoy your relationships and catch up on the past year...sharing the blessings that can only be shared when people come together from over a distance...or even right up the street.

Exactly. It's just like Christmas, but without the presents.
