When I first bought their album, this was my favorite song (when "When I'm Gone" was still new). I absolutely love it, but I feel the radio plays it way too much, and they're killing it for a lot of people. :(

It's an awesome. I sort of delayed in buying the CD b/c I didn't think their first one was all that great, so I figured this would be about the same. Couldn't download any uncorrupted tracks from KaZaA, so that also sucked. But once I heard the song, I knew I HAD to get it. It rocks. But does the guitar riff remind anyone of the intro from OLB or maybe WTLF? I can't figure it out, but it sounds like something Creed may have done. Same with the title track, with the guitar part that plays along when Arnold sings the words "Away from the Sun"; reminds me of the Higher riff.

I love it, it makes me think of person I'm apart from right now. :)

This whole album is really good, but this song is definately my favorite pick off of it right now.

I heard the song is about dating a woman who is married and that is why they can't be together. They said it on a local station down here, has anyone else heard that?

That could be one idea. But I think 3DD writes like Creed, make it your own type of writing. Even though it means something to the writer, it can be made into whoever elses situation.

yeah ive been looking for it like crazy but i cant find it either!

Saw 3DD in concert last Sat (the 25th) night. I took my daughter and two friends. We were right on the rail. Seether and Octane (really cool new band) opened for them. Great show by all 3 bands. Brad from 3DD asked if any of us were at the NYE show. Many of us raised our hands. He thanked us all for coming to see them again and said that the NYE show was amazing. They really had a great time that night. The crowd at this show (in a small venue in Philly) was really loud and into it. The band thanked the crowd over and over again and told us this was why they love Philly. Always get a great reaction. Let that night with a pick and set list from Seether, and autographs and pictures with Octane (plus their new cd...it's excellent...www.octanerocks.com). Great time was had by all. :D
Oh..yes, they sang Here without you....it was awesome. Not my fav. band, but they are really great to see live.

is there a solo in the radio version?

I couldn't get into this song cuz the intro sounds way too much like when i'm gone

i found out all they do is put a capo on the first fret and basically play when i'm gone

I love the song !!

anybody found the rock version yet?? i've looked on kazaa and winmx and still nothing comes up. please share if anyone does find it :)
